There has been a huge focus on the constant washing of our hands over the last couple of years.  The constant washing and sanitising can be damaging and drying to the skin. Our soothing homemade artisan soap bars are made with Mango, Coconut, Olive Oil and Cocoa Butter. Their beautiful creamy lather will moisturise and soothe tired and dried skin.

Beautiful Essential Oils

The essential oils we use in our soap are 100% certified therapeutic grade which boost our bars with beautiful aromatic scents and benefits directly from nature. We do not use any synthetic man-made oils in our soap.

Pure essential oils help to support a healthy body in so many ways and by using these in our soap we hope to enhance your user experience.

Why did we choose these Essential Oils?

Lavender & Geranium

Lavender Essential oil is:

The Queen of all oils.  Lavender is a beautifully soothing, relaxing as well as calming oil to use.  Lavender helps to promote a general sense of well-being. The essential oil contains naturally occurring chemicals including linalool which helps to promote the restoration and recovery of body systems. On an emotional level Lavender may help you to communicate, not only helping you to speak your innermost thoughts and desires but also to offer support when you are facing difficult conversations.

Geranium Essential Oil is:

Geranium Oil is known as the ‘emotional healer’ using geranium can help to soothe feeling of distrust, hurt and anger. Alcohols like Geraniol which occur in Geranium oil make it a clarifying oil, this oil is a popular treat for the skin.

Lavender & Cedarwood

Cedarwood Essential Oil:

The essential oils from trees are the most grounding of the oils.  Cedarwood was one of the first essential oils extracted from nature and has been used since the days of The Sumerians.  They regarded the Cedar tree as the ‘Tree of Life’.

Cedarwood can be used help to reduce acne and oily secretions when used topically. Apply the oil neat to areas affected by eczema and psoriasis. Cedarwood is very mild and safe for even the most sensitive of skins.

Lemongrass & Lime

Lemongrass Essential Oil:

A powerful energy cleanser, helping individuals enter a healing and cleansing state by clearing negative energy. Diffusing pure lemongrass oil helps to cleanse the energy in your home. Furthermore, it will help to improve air quality, reducing airborne bacteria. Another use for Lemongrass is to ease joint and muscle pain.  It also works well as an insect repellent.

Lime Essential Oil:

Limonene is the dominant compound of Lime oil.  Essential oils with high contents of monoterpenes like limonene have an energising and uplifting aroma.  Lime can help to support the immune system and metabolism as well as restoring a zest for life.

Rosemary, Eucalyptus & Marjoram

All of these oils are antibacterial and anti-infectious with purifying and antioxidant properties.  They can help to protect your skin from the harmful effects of free radicals.

Rosemary Essential Oil:

Rosemary oil contains salicylic acid, the forerunner of aspirin which may explain why massaging rosemary into joints effectively eases arthritic or rheumatic pain. Diffusing this essential oil while you work and study can help with concentration and focus.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil:

Eucalyptus oil supports those who are constantly prone to illness.  Applied to the chest or diffused it can help to ease congestions and coughs.

Marjoram Essential Oil:

Marjoram was a symbol of joy and happiness for the Greeks and Romans.  The herb is known as ‘the joy of the mountains’. The oil may help reduce snoring and aid sleep. Rubbing a couple of drops onto the back of the neck can help to ease chronic stress.

Peppermint & Tea Tree with Oats

Peppermint Essential Oil:

The natural chemicals like menthol found in Peppermint oil make it an energizing and invigorating oil for body, mind and spirit.  Use peppermint to wake you up and also to cheer you up if you’re feeling sad. Peppermint is a great choice to help soothe skin irritations and itching.  The oil combines beautifully with the chickenpox calming oats in this soap.

Tea Tree Essential Oil:

Tea tree is best known for its purifying and clarifying properties. The Aboriginal people of Australia have used Tea Tree for centuries, it is known as nature’s disinfectant.
